It was that time again - National Pancake Day was just around the corner. After the overwhelming positive reactions last year, we decided to turn this culinary day into an event in 2024. This time too, colleagues could indicate which pancake variants they preferred and of course how many they thought they would eat.

Preparations started early that morning. One of the video booths in the office was transformed into a real kitchen to bake the pancakes. As soon as the booth was decorated and the electric stove was ready, the batter could be made. Fortunately, Joran also arrived at the office, so that he and Debby could get started with baking.

Soon a delicious array of pancakes appeared. In addition to the classic plain pancakes, there were also variants with bacon, cheese and even raisins. Of course, colleagues with lactose intolerance had also been taken into account - special plain and bacon pancakes were made for them.

Once all the pancakes were ready, it was time to cover them together with icing sugar and syrup and eat them. It was a warm and pleasant lunch, where everyone enjoyed real freshly baked pancakes. The mood at the table was very good!

All in all, National Pancake Day at our office was once again a great succes. Our colleagues visibly enjoyed the delicious pancakes. It was a wonderful way to relax and refuel during the busy working day. We are looking forward the to National Pancake day in 2025!
