Concentrate, aim and... shoot!
With the beautiful weather in recent weeks, we enjoyed our archery event. Here we were able to apply our gaming skills in real life, outside the oldest farm in South Holland: the Vlietwoning in Naaldwijk.

After the escape room, game & karaoke night and of course the beach BBQ, this was already the seventh event of the Competa IT annual calendar. This time we went with a group of ten colleagues to the Vlietwoning farm in Naaldwijk to test our archery skills.
Before we started, we first received an extensive explanation from Julian about the techniques and rules of archery. We then got to work and practiced a number of rounds and were able to apply our game skills to shooting with a bow and arrow. It was great to see how good everyone quickly became at hitting the bullseye.

After we had practiced enough, it was time for the Competa tournament. The assignment was simple: score as many points as possible! It was an incredibly exciting tournament, in which everyone did their utmost to finish as high as possible. It quickly became a neck and neck race between the first four.
In the end, Mandy and Joeri finished in a shared third place, which is a great achievement! shout out to you Second place went to Joran, who shot consistently well throughout the tournament. But of course there can only be one winner, and that was Nigel! With this victory, Nigel has already received his second drinks package this year.

After this challenging event it was time to relax with colleagues with a drink in the center of Naaldwijk. Here we toasted on this experience and Nigel's victory together, with some well-deserved cold drinks!
